Untangling the Knots that Create Obstacles to God’s Love

We’ve made a tangled mess of God’s love. In this seminar, Pam identifies and unties 5 common knots that have been created by:

  • approaching the Bible as if it’s infallible
  • believing God’s love is dependent on what we say or do
  • holding a narrow view of God
  • overemphasizing brokenness and disobedience
  • employing theological understandings and religious practices that don’t reflect fullness of God’s love.

Each of these knots creates obstacles that limit how God’s love is experienced. Left tangled they are a source of pain, fear, and confusion.

Living in the Certainty of God’s Love

God’s love is a gift to and for us. This love is extravagant, encompassing, and empowering. Like every giver of a gift, the Gift Giver longs for you to open the gift that you’ve received and let it make a difference in your life. In this seminar, Pam stresses that God wants you to open the gift and experience its blessings so that you can live in the fullness of God’s love.

The Sweep of God’s Love Story

Starting at the beginning of the Biblical story, Pam will walk us through the interactions and events of God’s story to reveal that it starts and ends with love and blessing.

W.I.G.I.A.T. (Where is God in All This?)

In the midst of the ups and downs of life, we might wonder where God is when situations are complicated, when sorrows abound. and when uncertainty is all around us. In this seminar, Pam encourages us to pay attention to what’s happening around us so that we can see God in the midst of the ordinary times of our lives.

5 Components of Living An Untangled Life

In this seminar, Pam highlights the 5 components of living fully on the way: appreciating change, building relationships, managing expectations, cultivating resiliency, and showing compassion. She explores the challenges and benefits of embracing these components as you live fully on the way.

Understanding Hospice Care

Just mentioning the word hospice makes people uncomfortable. In this seminar, Pam will debunk the myths of hospice and clarify the who, what, when, where, why, and how of hospice care.

Caring for a Loved One in Hospice

With the help of her husband and sister, Pam provided round the clock care for her mother while she died under hospice care. This was one of the most transformative experiences in her life. In 2018, Pam published her book, “On the Way…Short Stories and Biblical Refections on Caring for a Loved one in Hospice Care.” In this seminar, Pam will speak about her family’s experience in hopes that it will inform, comfort, and empower others to care for their loved one who is dying.

Determining and Communicating Your End of Life Wishes

The one thing we all have in common is that we are going to die. In this seminar, Pam encourages us to determine and communicate our wishes as we approach the end of life. Doing this is one of the best gifts we give to our loved ones. While the topic might be difficult to address, taking care of this while we can will make things easier when we get to this time in our lives.
